Successful software localization not only involves the software<\/strong> itself but numerous supplementary materials<\/strong>, such as online help, technical documentation, release and patch notes, and marketing texts. These also need to be adapted for the requirements of your target market. To ensure all of these materials are coherent and consistent, I use the CAT tool memoQ<\/strong> with its terminology and translation databases<\/strong> (term base\/translation memory). This enables me to produce translations consistent in terminology, content, and form. Plus, I can accept and complete assignments in almost every common text file format<\/strong> \u2013<\/strong> from basic TXT files to common Word, Excel, and PDF files, even XLIFF files specially designed for localization data exchange. SDL Trados files are also no problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From my years of experience in the gaming industry and my personal fascination with fantasy and science fiction, I have a passion for computer games<\/strong> and have worked on numerous MMOs. But my spirit of discovery knows no bounds: My portfolio also includes software programs from the realms of mechanical engineering, business, and administration<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
